Sun Group’s $2 Billion Van Don Casino Resort Targets 2032 Launch Vietnam’s Sun Group has confirmed that its Van Don Integrated Casino & Tourism Complex in Quang Ninh Province will be fully operational by 2032, marking one of northern Vietnam’s largest-ever resort investments, valued at over US$2 billion. Located in the Van Don Economic Zone, the 245-hectare project will feature 214 gaming tables and 2,140 slot machines, with Vietnamese citizens permitted to gamble under strict regulation — an expansion of the country’s limited gaming pilot program. Beyond gaming, the resort will include luxury hotels, entertainment venues, and cultural attractions, positioning Van Don as a new international tourism hub.
